How to get to LINCS

Airport connections:
  • You can easily reach Paris downtown and Lincs Avenue d'Italie from any of the three airports that serve Paris:
    • Charles De Gaulle airport
    • Orly airport
    • Beauvais airport
  • Airport Taxi: A flat fee is now applicable to get to Paris downtown from Charles de Gaulle Airport. The fee for all locations on the ''left bank'', including LINCS, is EUR55. From Orly airport, the fee is EUR30.

How to find LINCS:

  • LINCS is located at on the 4th floor, at the rear of the building. During working hours, buzz the receptionist from the main entrance on the Avenue d’Italie. Upon entering, the reception desk is on your left, and the receptionist will check you in, direct you to the elevator at the rear of the building, and provide you with the access code to enter the laboratory. Once you have entered the laboratory on the 4th floor, a display case on the wall to the right provides a map and the room numbers for everyone at the LINCS.
Local transportation:
  • To reach the congress center, an easy way is to take the public transportation, metro, RER, bus.
  • By metro: Place d’Italie (lines 5, 6 and 7). Those coming from the airports (Charles de Gaulle or Orly) can take the RER B regional train to Denfert Rochereau and change there for the Metro line 6, going four stops in the direction of “Nation” to Place d’Italie.
  • By bus: Place d’Italie (lines 27, 47, 57, 64, 67 and 83)
  • By car: from the ring road (périphérique): Exit at Porte d’italie, take the Avenue d’Italie towards Place d’Italie. Cars can be parked for a fee at the Italie 2 shopping center, opposite the LINCS, at 30 Avenue d’Italie.
